Riverfront pets was such a clean, beautiful environment for dog grooming services. I was at ease seeing they also have a daycare, and that all of the dogs were so happy and well taken care of there. My bichon is usually a little anxious after groomin more...g, but after being groomed at riverfront pets she was in a great mood the entire rest of the day. My visit with River Front Pets was Horrible. I took my Siberian husky Pluto to them, they called me within an hour after I dropped Pluto off, to tell me my my dog had a seizure and that they didn’t know how he was going to act with the dryer. I was more... so frantic because my dog has never had a seizure ever. The woman on the phone said, I didn’t see that on his paperwork, yeah because he had never had a seizure. If someone dog had a seizure why the hell would you be worrying about drying him. You should be more concerned about the dog having a seizure and telling the client they need to call the vet immediately and to come pick your dog up . That was not the case. I told the woman on the phone, you don’t need to dry him Im coming to pick my dog up!!! I got there and was greeted by a man, telling me his dog had seizures all the time thats why he knows that my dog had a seizure. No disrespect Sir but I don’t know you or your dog and you don’t know my dog . He took me back to where Pluto was and they were drying him. After I insisted they did not have to dry him because i was picking him up. Pluto was not in any distress when i got there however he did look scared. I ask them to take my dog down of the harness they had him in, and told them we were leaving and my dog has never had a seizure and he will never be back. I got my dog back home and blowdried him. Pluto loves to be pampered. He was perfectly fine. If you are not sure, about a dog having a seizure. Know your facts 1st! less...
