Rude and inconsistent customer service and pricing

I wrote out specific instructions, left my phone number, dog treats and after 3 hours I hadn’t heard anything. I called and they said it would be at least another hour and a half! I’m thinking, that’s some serious brushing going on! But she’s more... a doodle and I asked for her to remain fluffy, she just needed some shaping. After an additional hour and a half, I show up. My dog still isn’t ready. They say, “another 20 minutes.” So I spent the time shopping in their store. Finally she is brought out and she is completely shaved, including her tail! It does not take FIVE hours to shave down a dog. My guess is they hadn’t even touched her for the first three hours then tried to hurry and didn’t have time to do a proper grooming. The groomer complained that there were four dogs brought in all at the same time, though I scheduled an appointment and brought her in right on time. It’s unfortunate that my dog was shaved down due to their mismanaged scheduling system. I paid $250 for a bath and a complete shave down. Never again! less...

Fabulous job on my fur baby!

My husband and I have brought our dog to the Dog Bar 5 times. Overall, we are generally happy with the grooming, but they have now charged our 23 lb cocker spaniel as a large breed for the last 3 times. The first two times we came they charged us $10 more...5 for a medium size breed as she is. However, our 3rd and 4th time they charged us as a large breed at $125 (when checking out they didn’t tell me the price and just had me scan my card; my mistake for not asking). As they are a small business I didn’t feel like going back and fighting them for the extra $20, but when my husband and I brought our dog this time we asked for this to be corrected before the grooming started. The gentleman at the front desk acted like it would be no problem, however, when we picked up our dog he told us we needed to be charged as a large breed. We told him that we didn’t think that made sense since she had been charged as a medium breed her first two grooms and was under 25 lbs and has to go into the small dog park. We ended up paying the large dog price of $130 (prices have also gone up $5 since our last visit), but we felt this was inaccurate as cocker spaniels are considered medium size dogs and she’s 23 lbs. Absolutely wonderful! My dog's grooming was perfect and the staff is very kind and professional!

I had an appointment for yesterday at 11, I made this reservation two weeks ago, they asked me for all kinds of information about my dog ​​(weight, breed, etc.) To my surprise when I arrived they told me that they could not bathe her because the more...girl who was going to bathe her had had surgery. I thought it was in very bad taste since the normal thing would have been for them to call me to cancel the appointment, but no... when I arrived at the place they told me that they could not see my dog. I assure you that you will never see me again! Very bad customer service less...
