They hacked up my dogs hair. It looked like a toddler had gotten to her! The worst part, they wanted to charge me $25. The first two times she went were fine so I was disappointed in them.

We have seen your pup 3 times since Sept. 4th 2021. She is a year old.
1st time, 9/4/2021 pup got a puppy bath with a little scissoring and nails done. On September 26th, 2021 we had to shave ears and face because of mats. Next appointment more...was 2/3/2022. Five months since last groom. Your pup was severely matted and we could not safely groom her. Her stress level was high, especially on her legs. We recommended a sedation grooming with a vet. You knew your pet was really matted and needed to be shaved because our records show that when you booked the appointment, you wrote as much, with a sad face emoticon. You were told on check in that we would do what we could. less...

This was my first time using Yappie Cuttery. I have a medium size beagle so he just got a bath, nail trim and a brush out. He got a free teeth brushing for first time customer. They are great, Lily went in like a very matted lamb, she came out a beautiful 18 month old young lady. This was Lily’s first grooming. They gave her a excellent report card. Lily will be going to Yappie Cuttery in a couple of months for her ne more...xt grooming.

Everything was great. I have a bit of worry on how long my dog is there (dropped off at 8am, picked up at 1:30pm) but they do offer water and walks. I will go again, always trying to get there earliest because they say they do them in order of arri more...val. :) less...

Thank you for your feedback! The "rough-in" portion of all groomings are done first in the morning, and the groomers do their finishing work after that - not necessarily in order of drop-off; other factors like the type of clip requested, condition o more...f the pet, etc., determine the order of the day. All pets are taken for multiple walks and do get offered water while they are here. It is always our goal to have our clients' pets groomed and ready to go as soon as possible, but pick-up times vary. We will see you again soon! less...

Dropped our dog off at 8:00 AM, we called to check on him at 2:00 and they had not started on him. He was not ready until 3:30. What is the point of dropping the dog off early if he is going to sit in cage all day? We will not be returning. Poor comm more...unication! less...

Hello, this is Peter Perretta, owner of Yappie Cuttery. We are sorry there was a communication error regarding your pet's grooming; I am sure there was a misunderstanding regarding the start and completion time. All pets dropped off in the morning ar more...e started in the morning with what we call a "rough-in" procedure where we complete everything up to and including the bath that must be done in order for the groomer to provide the actual haircut in the "finishing" process. It was the finishing portion of the grooming that was started at 2:00-2:30pm and completed by 3:30pm. You have been bringing your pup to us for a long time and we would hate to see a good relationship broken by a communication error. If you do reconsider and bring your pup back to us, we will be happy to make a note for future groomings to have him finished first for an earlier pick-up time. less...
